• Vocational Day

All our year 10 and year 11 students have the opportunity to take part in our 'Vocational Days'.

The day consists of practical subjects such as:

• Food Technology
• Construction
• Sport
• Hair and Beauty
• Art

These subjects help provide skills based learning and enable students to gain knowledge and hands-on skills to perform specific task for a particular occupation.  Over 95% of our students go on to study vocational subjects at post 16 so this day allows them to identify their own strengths and weaknesses which in turn aids post 16 decisions.
